Violin #3': Anansi

Status: 🟢 Available for Trial/Purchase

This is Anansi, an instrument made in collaboration with Craig Danner of Crispin/Hammer violins, who has also graciously provided the photos shown below. Anansi is loosely modeled after the 1733 Guarneri del Gesu ‘Kreisler,’ with some stylistic interpretations from myself and from what I am coining as the "Crispin/Hammer Method."
(to read more about the Crispin/Hammer Method and how this violin was completed in only 16 days, click on "Blog Post" up above!)

Anansi is named after the figure from West African folklore, known in many as a trickster, and in some as a keeper of stories. It was important to me to name this violin with an 'A' name, as Craig Danner names his violins alphabetically. Read more about the making and naming process at the link above.
